“Where soul lives,” is the logo of my birthplace, Macon, GA, which is famous for its deep musical heritage, rich history, and architecture. This rich heritage inspired me as an artist and designer to pursue my fashion degree at SCAD Savannah. Fashion, to me, isn’t about following rules but about presenting new ideas for intentional living. At first, I used fine art to process my experiences through painting, which taught me to find inspiration through feeling. Discovering fashion, however, let me live inside my story. Style became a passion as I realized how an outfit could set the tone and change my narrative. Illustration presented the most excitement within my design process. The most compelling ideas bring songs to my mind. Now, I am eager to keep exploring how creativity shapes my journey and the world around me.
